And boarding? Unless you are moving, fumigating, or remodeling it is a poor choice. Companion parrots need familiar and safe surroundings when their flock is away for peace of mind.

Squawk and Howl is now offering solo dog walks for dogs that need to get their ya-yas out, but for whatever reason cannot do the "group walk
thing".
There are many reasons why to choose a solo walk over a group one. This service is ideal for:
- dog aggressive dogs,
- non-socialized new adoptions and fosters,
- sick and elderly dogs,
- or just plain ol' fraidy dogs.
And it's affordable!

At Squawk and Howl, while we specialize in parrot sitting, we care for your entire, furry, feathered, finny, scaly zoo!
We charge on flat fee for ALL animals in your home we can reasonably see in an hour. We don't nickel and dime you like some other services ($15 for a
dog walk there, $25 for a quick run and and scoop the litter box there). No sir! We charge a flat hourly rate (and if you have quite a menagerie and think we
need more time, we'll tell you so in our prelim visit). All charges disclosed, up front in writing, before services rendered.

Parrot behavior consultants, zookeepers, vet techs, and rescuers on staff. All our sitters must pass a written test, an interview and reference check, and several "ride alongs" to see how they interact with strange animals BEFORE coming to work for us.
We specialize. While we are happy to care for any animal, we fill a need for hard-to-place-on-a-group-walk dogs and companion parrots, who have special needs most sitters cannot properly fill.
Holistic pet care approach We only use positive reinforcement, organic food (when asked to provide diets for our clients), eco and bird-friendly cleaning supplies, and can also help with dietary, enrichment, and supplement changes for your companion animals (to make them happier and healthier). |
