Birgit Soyka, a German native, grew up with her beloved cockatiel and role model "Neptun". She never lost her love for parrots and called a number of feathered companions her own ranging from a flock of colorful budgies to a majestic Rainbow Toucan. In 1997 she adopted three Amazon parrots whom she decided to choose as her business partners to open the San Francisco Bird Hotel in 2006.
It will be a pleasure for me to know all my feathered squawky, furry howling and meowing, and of course happy human customers to offer impeccable pet-sitting services.I want to extend the motto of peace and and harmony from the Bird Hotel to Squawk and Howl to deliver the greatest good while traveling: peace of mind !

Caroline has always been passionate about animals ever since childhood. She is a former zookeeper with Happy Hollow Zoo in San Jose ( 6 years of experience around macaws,amazon parrots,primates, livestock). She also has volunteered around elephants,tigers, lions and giraffes at Oakland Zoo. Caroline has had experience around reptiles, cats, dogs, birds, fish, you name it!
She also comes with a Wildlife Rehab experience, having taken care of baby birds as well as working with adult raptors. She also has a menagerie of her own at home, from cats to reptiles.

Ryan Kozisek first started taking care of animals at a wildlife center 14 years ago. Since,then he's also worked with pet birds,dogs,cats,horses,aquaria,small mammals, reptiles, amphibians,livestock, poultry,and a variety of other creatures great and small.He holds a Bachelor's degree in Avian Sciences and is currently working towards certification as a registered veterinary technician. Ryan is owned by a Pacific parrotlet (Max) and an Italian greyhound(Jasper).
